Saint Therese of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face |
Therese, also known as the "Little Flower", was born in Alencon, France in 1873. She entered the Carmelite Monastery in Lisieux at the age of 15, and died there at the age of 24 in 1897. Famous for her spiritual doctrine of the "Little Way", she is Carmel's third Doctor of the Church. Her feastday is October 1. |
